Because of Momma I believed I could do it all and do it well
Because of Momma I had the confidence to pack my shit up and moved across the country in a matter of days notice
Because of Momma I learned to love cold ice cream and hot chocolate pudding
Because of Momma I know what unconditional love feels like
Because of Momma I got to choose my own path in life ( even if she didn't really agree with it)
Because of Momma I am independent as hell
Because of Momma I know that it is possible for a woman to do it all on her own
Because of Momma I know what resilience looks like
But most importantly because of Momma I have a life long best friend. I can't imagine a world without her in it! So here's to my Momma and all the other Momma's out their who raise strong, independent, smart, and capable kids. Here's to the Momma's who love us kids even when we aren't so lovable.
