On To The Next Adventure

Sorry I have been so bad at writing lately but it has been a wild few weeks that have been insanely busy! In fact so busy that I have since moved to Idaho! My time in Montana was a time that I made plenty of memories and learned a lot and I will forever treasure my Montana adventure. But I was ready to move onto the next adventure, an adventure a little closer to home!

So I got a cowboying job just over the Nevada border into Idaho. It's only been a week here but I can already tell there are going to be some wild stories and memories to come!

The first night I got here I pulled in after an 11 hour drive took 14 hours due to construction and it was just about midnight. When I parked the truck I was greeted by two cowboys who immediately offered me a cold beer and I knew I was going to fit right in! Since I've been here we have done some fencing and spent a whole lot of time horse back. Let me tell ya, being able to do what I love the majority of the time with people who have a passion for horsemanship and old school cowboy ways is such a treat! Getting to watch the sunrise through the ear of a good horse is probably one of my favorite ways to spend the early morning hours!

Outside of work I've been to see Chris Janson at the Labor Day fair in Twin Falls, gone night fishing, cooked the boys dinner, and earned myself the title of "bunkhouse mom" since the boys don't seem to know how to use an alarm clock in the morning!

I work for one of the nicest gals I've ever met who has hired some of the handiest, funniest, good hearted cowboys I've come to know!

With this wild bunch I have no doubt in my mind that this will be an adventure of a life time and the stories and memories to come will be some that I will gladly share over and over as time goes by.

Thanks for reading!

XOXO Syd
